I used to have great experiences with this tire shop under the previous owners, but the new ownership has been a huge disappointment. Recently, I was charged an outrageous $61.17 just to plug a simple tire puncture. To make matters worse, they made us wait several hours before they could even do the job. When I went back to pick up my car, I noticed a new scratch on the vehicle that they didn’t even bother to notify me about. To top it all off, they didn’t even bother to reset the tire pressure monitoring system. This shop clearly doesn’t have the same level of service or integrity it used to. I won’t be returning.
I used this shop many times years ago and they were very professional and prices were reasonable. Today I got quoted over $200 for mounting / balancing 4 tires on 4 brand new rims. That's quite a bit more than other shops around. They also offered better price ($150) if I pay cash which seemed somewhat awkward to me. I love to support local businesses but this time I decided to pass.
Great service at Incline Village Tire! Jose quickly fixed my flat at a fair price. Clean shop, professional staff. Highly recommend for Tahoe tire needs!
I showed up with a screw embedded in my all terrain tire. The technician quickly inspected my tire, then applied some soap solution to verify the tire was not leaking air. He pulled the screw out of the tire and sent me on the way no charge, what a great guy. I'd definitely come back here for tires and service.
All of the positive posts here are about the shop when it was owned by Dan and Kate. They were great! The new ownership is not. Hostile, arrogant, agreeably pushing up sales, more interested in making the sale then listing to the customer. They throws to strong arm me into buying winter tires that the manufacturer did not list my car as suitable yet they claimed it’s identical to this other model. I call my car’s manufacturer and they told me if I’d taking that advice it would have voided part of my warrantee. Schwab in Reno - better prices, better service, actual qualified staff.
