I got my phone’s battery replaced here and everything seemed fine until I started experiencing issues with my phones touch screen. I took my phone to a different repair shop closer to where I live and when the shop assistant opened my phone they found that my battery, that Ifixtech had installed, had been sellotaped into place and that tape had scratched my phone’s screen and ruined the touch receptor as a result this meant I had to replace my battery and screen, costing me far more than I had previously paid. This could have been prevented if my battery was replaced properly when I had first gotten it fixed in this shop. Please go somewhere else if you need repairs done to your phone!

I am leaving this review to share my personal experience and to inform other customers.
My 14-year-old son had his phone repaired at this shop. We were told in advance that original parts would be used to replace the camera and the back glass.
A total of £150 was paid for this repair, which reasonably creates an expectation of professional quality.
On the same day the phone was collected, we returned to the shop because the camera was not working and the quality of the replaced back glass was clearly very poor. The issue with the camera existed from the beginning.
Even if the phone may have accidentally slipped from his hands at some point, this does not change the fact that the camera was never repaired and does not explain the extremely low quality of the replacement parts that were installed.
Shortly afterwards, the back glass cracked due to heat/sun exposure, without any noticeable impact. This is not something that should happen after a professional repair.
When I returned to the shop to raise these concerns, the manager/owner’s attitude was dismissive and unprofessional. Instead of inspecting the device or offering a solution, we were asked to leave the premises.
After this experience, I reviewed other public Google reviews and noticed that many customers describe similar issues, including poor-quality repairs, use of non-original parts, and refusal to resolve problems. This suggests a pattern of customer dissatisfaction, rather than an isolated case.
Customers deserve clear communication, reasonable quality of service, and accountability, especially when a service is provided to a child. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this business.
