Very good customer service and helpful
I went in for repairs for my Samsung s23 after my charger got stuck into my phone (metal piece) and would no longer charge through the port with another charger. Wireless charging worked fine & I had no other issues. I knew I had a trip planned & wanted my charger port to work. I emailed them with my issues above & they quoted me $100 for repair. I left work to go there & they repaired my battery stating that was the problem. The cost was $127. After leaving my back & front camera lenses were blurry & wet. I went home and 30 minutes later my phone would no longer turn on. I went back immediately. They stated they fixed it & come back if I had further issues. Once again condensation built into the lenses and 2 hours later at 11pm my phone no longer powered on. I returned the next day and the technician said he didn't know how to repair my phone due to its "age" & have it repaired by Samsung or the carrier. They refused a refund of any kind. As a single income mom of 3 I cannot afford this type of negligence. I had no issues with my phone working prior to this, wireless charging worked fine. I spent $127 to ruin my phone. I support small business but never again would I recommend this place. I had to go to tmobile and spend more money on a replacement phone and the stress associated with it. Also the reviews are astroturfing, based on last names & cultural similarities, they are boosted reviews from family & friends and not actual customers.
I initially came in after dropping my phone and damaging the screen and the touchscreen completely stopped working. I didn’t have insurance on the device, so I needed a quick and affordable solution. The repair was completed in under 25 minutes, and at first, the phone appeared to work like new. The location inside Walmart was convenient, and there was a decent selection of iPhone and iPad cases available while I waited. Within a couple of days of the repair, I began receiving an error message on my phone stating that the display could not be recognized. This message appeared before the phone experienced any additional accidental physical damage and typically indicates that the display may not be a genuine Apple OEM part or was not installed or calibrated correctly. After a later drop, despite having both a case and the tempered glass screen protector installed by this shop, the display began to fail again. When I removed the screen protector, I noticed that the replacement screen itself had cracked underneath the tempered glass, and the display started glitching and malfunctioning. I contacted the store to ask whether they could examine the device or help address the issue, especially considering I spent approximately $250 on the repair less than than a week earlier. Instead, I was told I would need to pay for a second repair, with only a 20% discount offered, which would still have resulted in a significant additional cost. Based on the error messages, calibration issues, and the durability of the replacement screen, I do question whether a true OEM Apple display was used despite being charged a premium repair price. I am only sharing my personal experience and observations. I ultimately scheduled a repair through Best Buy to have the phone properly serviced. Based on this experience, I can no longer recommend this business. I would also encourage customers not to leave reviews immediately after phone repairs — give it time to ensure the results actually hold up. ‼️ Update: I visited Best Buy, an Apple Authorized Service Provider, where a representative examined my device. They confirmed that the screen installed during my prior repair was a third-party part, not the correct size for my device, and not a genuine Apple OEM part. The Geek Squad associate also ran a diagnostic test, which flagged the screen as the source of the issue and confirmed that the problem was with the screen itself, not the device’s hardware. I share this to help other customers make informed decisions. I wish third-party repair shops would clearly disclose when non-Apple parts are being used and avoid marketing repairs as “Apple” repairs unless genuine Apple components are installed. Using non-Apple parts can affect warranties and insurance coverage, which I unfortunately learned after the fact. I was not informed of the difference between Apple OEM parts and aftermarket parts at the time of service. Repair providers understand this distinction, and customers should be given the opportunity to make an informed choice before paying premium prices.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had a great experience with iFix in Aberdeen, Maryland. The staff was incredibly friendly and made the whole process easy from start to finish. Their prices were very affordable compared to other places, and the quality of their work was truly professional. You can tell they take pride in what they do. I highly recommend iFix if you’re looking for reliable service and top-notch production!
