Homefix Roofing and Window Installation of Richmond

My review rating is soley based on how pressured i felt during my estimate visit as well as the obvious price gouging. Our initial quote for siding my garage was a little over 23k. I was shocked by that amount. Once i expressed that my husband and i would need to dicuss and we would get back to them, we were immedietly offered a price of approx 17k but in order to secure that, we had to get on the calendar right away. I expressed again that i would need at least 24 hours to have a conversation with my husband. The consultant immedietly said "ok so your opting out of the lower price". Salesman ignored my no soliciting sign to knock on my door and ring the doorbell at 7:15pm on a literal dark and rainy night, freaking out my family and scaring my toddler while my infant was asleep. Quickest way to earn a 1 star review. Appears to be a very disreputable business with a habit of doing this according to other reviews

I have never requested Homefix to come to my home, ever. However, last night around 8pm Homefix sent Eric to my home uninvited to knock on my door and ask if I would like prices on windows, siding and such. Its was 8pm and the sun set at 6pm. Its way to dark to see anything, we'll less price anything. If he had come by during daylight hours he would see a 2 week old roof, 1 year old windows and brick siding. None of which needs replacement. This really bothered me as I have no soliciting signs posted on my door and yet he still felt the need to knock on my door and solicit.
