Helitech Waterproofing & Foundation Repair

We had a very heavy piece of equipment in one of our rooms that caused one of the floor joists to bow. Greg B. from Helitech came out and worked with me in a professional and collaborative manner to come up with a solid plan to fix the issue. We also decided to have Helitech encapsulate our crawl space after they offered a highly competitive deal, better than any other company we contacted in Central Illinois. Greg was always responsive and answered all my texts and inquiries promptly. The crew came out and completed both the joist reinforcement and crawl space encapsulation in just two days. They installed an adjustable jack with a concrete base to correct the bowing, which completely solved the issue. The encapsulation was also done well overall, though I noticed several areas where the tape wasn’t pressed in firmly, leaving small gaps. I was concerned these gaps might compromise the seal and allow moisture over time. I reached out to Greg, and he quickly contacted the service team. While the service manager was initially dismissive, calling the tape issue “cosmetic”, I disagreed. Thankfully, a team was sent out shortly after and redid all the problematic areas. They even left me a fresh roll of tape for future use. In the end, I’m very satisfied with the results and appreciate Greg’s professionalism and follow-through. Helitech got the job done.
