A technician comes to my house and tells me the wall plug is bad for the gas igniter, he says he will have to order one. That little bit cost over $100 for him to come out and tell me that, he did not perform any other service. He needed the new plug to finish his cleaning/inspection. Over a week goes by and I hear nothing about the plug that I bet he got on Amazon. Finally, on a Friday I was told that the following Saturday the technician would stop at the house and see if the cord works. We've hired Hawkeye Fireplace for two major projects in the past year, and I cannot say enough good things about them. Jonathan was incredibly patient, walking us through the various options to help us decide what was best for our home. During the chimney inspection, he identified a dangerous situation regarding our furnace exhaust that numerous home inspectors had missed. Hawkeye Fireplace was so easy to work with! Our 1875 farmhouse presented unique issues but Jon wasn’t fazed. He interviiewed us and made suggestions to conserve the vintage look we wanted. He was precise in his work, on time, on budget and communicated well. His attention to detail, and respect for our belongings was much appreciated. We would highly reccomend him and his crew!
