I'm so grateful today The City of Hammond Police and Public works in full force after neighbors tree fell in to the sidewalk and my property. I would like to graciously thank all involved today for a job well done I love this City. Moved here 20 yrs ago and have received nothing but positivity and great vibes from the community. I'm trying to get the city to help me get NIPSCO to remove a tree stomp that they left after cutting down a tree in front of my house..I have baby stumps growing everywhere..plus the mess they left behind..I did them a favor by letting them cut it down ...now I'm screwed.
Couldn’t use this business if they don’t do their job. Called about several lawn bags in November 2021. Was told they would advise a supervisor. Caught city truck on camera looking at the bags and drive off. Was told they were snowed in and many other excuses. Someone get it together there. From what I know it hasn’t been snowing every day. March 8th, 2022 after 4th call was told wont pick up until April. Hard to try to keep The City of Hammond clean when it’s own workers won’t help. I had to re-bag and dispose the bags on my own. Not waiting another month. It’s already been 4 months.
