We had a great experience with Granite Empire of Cincinnati! The staff were very polite and helpful. They were flexible in the original contract and Sandra met all of the changes we requested. They were quick at getting our countertops scheduled and installed. The installers did a great job! Very happy with this company!
This is a great company to deal with. . Kim is a is very good with giving you advice with all the details that are involved. And the kitchen turned out really well. The countertops look beautiful and the installers were very friendly and efficient
Please read ENTIRE review: We are renovating our home and got brand new cabinets in our kitchen. We decided we wanted to do quartz countertops and a full quartz backsplash. We got quotes from multiple companies and ended up going with Granite Empire. Pro: Tanya at the office was great! She was very communicative. The guy who measured everything was also great! Now here’s where the negatives begin: the installers and the fabricator. We had to get the countertops in one installation and the backsplash in two separate installations. The installers damaged our wall and our brand new cabinets we had installed just a few days prior, threw their trash all over the floor and the quartz countertops (which included several razor blades), cut our wall for part of the countertop and then did not do the same for the other part so one piece was sticking out much further than the other piece, and left very sloppy seems. The installers did not speak English so when we would try to point out an issue they did not understand. During our consult we were told that the backsplash pattern would not completely line up to the countertop pattern since it would be cut from the same slab but sit on top of the countertop, totally understandable. However, the fabricator cut the backsplash into EIGHT different pieces so the pattern does not flow. The gaps between the pieces were filled in with a bunch of caulk and are very visible. I contacted the office several times, speaking to both Tanya and I believe the accounts manager, and sent them photos of the damages, trash, and work being done. I inquired about being told the backsplash would be one piece on one side and another piece on the other side but was made from 8 pieces. I also requested someone be on site that could translate between us and the installers. They ensured me that everything would be fixed. The installers did clean up what they could and shaved the countertop down on one side to match the other side, however the seams are still sloppy and extremely visible, our cabinets are still damaged (they literally ripped two faux cabinet drawers off and broke the pieces that attached it to the cabinet and put a ton of glue on our cabinet frame hoping that would keep them on but it did not and of course they didn’t even tell us or ask us), we had to redrywall our wall that was damaged, and our backsplash is still 8 pieces that we never got a resolution for. All the company did was say sorry you had this experience. I would not recommend this company. Please see photos for support. Hoping the company rights their wrong and I don’t have to get an attorney involved. Stay tuned!
I had a great experience with this company. They installed counters as soon as we were ready for them. The granite is beautiful. Just what I wanted. Manager Kim shared some insights about color that was invaluable to me. Her advice was dead on. Thank you Kim.
