GoGlass

We found ourselves in the unfortunate position of needing to replace yet another defective low-e window in our home. Fortunately, like we did the previous year, we called the friendly and reliable folks at Go Glass in Lewes to come and do the job. We were not disappointed. And just like before, making an appointment was easy, the pricing was fair, communication was excellent and the workers came exactly on time. Replacing the lower sash was quick and expertly done. I’d like to give a HUGE shout-out to our GoGlass technicians, Jimmy and Dawonne, who went above and beyond by spending extra time rubbing and scraping-off some intense gunk present on the “new” window replacement sash. With a lot of elbow grease, they got it all off! They also spotted a small defect in the “new” window that I noted and will report. And in addition to fixing our window, they also checked out an unusual spin that developed on our GoGlass custom-made round glass tabletop. They discovered that one of the tab holders shifted to the center (likely from cleaning), which explained the spinning effect. So, they replaced and repositioned all the tabs, cleaned the table and set it all back to normal. Jimmy and Dawonne were awesome and deserve a raise! We highly recommend GoGlass for their expert services, quality products, product support and fair prices.

I really wish I could write sometime more positive but unfortunately can not. We chose Go glass to repair the chip on two of our vehicles(done separately couple months apart). We wanted to give our business to them because they are local and veteran owned. My husband is a disabled Purple Heart veteran so we always try to give back to other veterans. Well the first chip “repair” splintered and cracked within 6 month. I didn’t go in or say anything as I know it can happened. Now here we are even less time has passed on the second chip “repair” and it’s splintered and cracked and running. I have had plenty of windshield repairs and only 1 other time has this ever happened. I guess it will be SAFELITE from now on. They said they would put the money for the repair towards a replacement windshield if i choose that. Why would I trust them to replace my windshield if it seems they can not even get chip repair right?. And let’s not forget the technician you was in the back who came out mighty defense because his name was on the work order. (Which is who did the first chip repair also). I strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere. Unless you want to repair that crack for no reason, and want to replace your windshield.
