I took an xbox one x motherboard to Kirk that I had attempted to replace a SMD chip on without success. I expected that I had ruined the motherboard with my attempted repair but took it in to get Kirk’s opinion. He took the time to show me the board under a scope, reflowed the solder on the SMD and one other chip, tested my hard drive and answered my numerous questions all for free! I was very surprised and thrilled to find my xbox booted up and worked like normal after reassembling thanks to the quick work Kirk did as a kindness. It was clear that Kirk knew what he was doing and his #1 goal was to get my device working again. If I need electronics fixed in the future, Gear Up Electronics will be at the top of my list.
