He refinished three pieces for me and a couple were in really bad shape. They were over a hundred years old. They look so good. Also, sturdied up the furniture and glued loose drawers, etc. He perfectly matched stain to an armoire we had. Also, repaired the back of a mirror and I didn’t even know he was going to fix that for me. I still have to get this rocker reupholstered, but it looks great. Two of my pieces had a lot of detail to them. He did have to charge $100 more for one dresser because it had lived in an attic for 40 years and had a weird crust of something on it that required an extra stripping. It was in terrible shape. 10/10 recommend.

Ernie was very helpful and understood exactly what I wanted for a vintage family cabinet. He did everything I asked for and more, including re forming, by hand, a trim piece that was badly damaged from termites. He is truly old school in that he did great work, at a great price and really cared about the quality of his work and customer service. He communicated well for the pick up and delivery, and showed care in moving the piece in and out of the house. He even built a special dolly to make sure he could get the oversized cabinet in safely. I can’t say enough good things about the experience! Ernie is a real treasure, you can trust him to do his best.
