Hired them to tuck point the entirety of my two flue chimney as well as rebuild from the roofline up and replace the top two terra cotta flues for each side which were cracked and new crown and flashing. They work fast and dirty. My gut does not trust them. First day their worker locked his keys in his car and then backed that car into my tree. Then lays a ladder up against my attic vent, denting it and also leaving cut marks in my shingle siding which i understand there will be some but wouldn’t be as bad if he switched to a smaller diameter blade! I said they missed a spot which turned out to be a vent hole for the chimney which i learned after the fact but they never caught me in saying it was wrongly a missed spot so apparently they don’t know that chimneys need vent holes / weep holes. The certification of warranty does not have my name spelled right. Predatory business practices, writing up contracts on the fly rather that an all inclusive estimate. I budgeted $10 for this work and they ran me up to $19k. So much for having money to put towards a kitchen remodel. Another big problem, they shimmed the top most terracota flue to level it but left a fat gap where smoke can escape the flue and they left it like that calling it a job complete. I brought them back out to fill it, had i been an elderly person unable to go on a roof, or if i trusted them, i never would know and would have the issues down the road. Another big problem, they cut corners and did not mane a proper crown. They did no framing, thus not make the crown have an over hang which should be 2”, they also did not provide an expansion joint around the flues! Now only a few months later i have hair line cracks. Guess what that turns into in time? Water leak and crumbling crown prematurely! Costing me thousands more to fix down the road! I tried calling them to make a “warranty claim” no answer. I texted the owner, did not deliver. He blocked me or changed numbers. These guys are from ny. My guess is they went out of business there too. I also had a funny feeling The entire time dealing with them. I got ripped off! And they call themselves pro? LMAO
