My wife and me were looking for a fireplace insert. Marty was so helpful in showing us what we needed after asking us questions on how we would be using it. We purchased the Archgard Optima 34. Bought our fireplace from this place when we built our home. Once our gas fireplace would just go out after being on randomly. I called to schedule maintenance. They told me if I paid the $200 fee for cleaning and maintenance that any of issues would be free of charge for like a year or something. They didn’t replace any parts, just cleaned and put it back together. After I called again, telling them it’s still doing it they came back out got on my roof, claimed they figured it out but wouldn’t tell me what it was, and acted really strange. Called Fireplace and Gas Center to have our insert cleaned and serviced. It was scheduled in a timely manner and during the service we mentioned to the technician (Travis) that the flames didn’t seem to be as high as they were when they first installed it a few years ago. Travis inspected it further and found a valve that was restricting the gas flow which caused the flame to not be as high as it was when they initially installed it. Travis was able to call the office to see if they had the part to fix it, which they did, so he went and got the part and fixed it the same day. My husband Bill and I have had the best service when purchasing our gas fireplace insert. From the beginning of our search for the best insert to the installation, I could not be happier! Marty and Dee, the wonderful ladies in the store, were kind, considerate and so very helpful in making the best choice of inserts for our home. The installers, Travis Wilson and another man (I’m sorry I have forgotten your name!) were professional, friendly and efficient in making the installation of our insert completed in a timely manner.
