Last week I had a 17’ F250 6R140 trans rebuilt. Before I dropped it off, I was very clear that it had a reverse and drive delay up to 3 seconds before engaging that needs fixed most. The truck had a slight 2-3 flare and went ahead and did a new transmission. I was told the cheapest was $4,000 he’s ever done. Well I just spent $1500 on a new valve body so I figured it may be cheaper considering I had that new part installed already. The new valve body only drove from Springdale straight to this Fay Trans. After the work was done, the delay is still there! Not to mention I paid $5500. After calling this morning he said bring it back but I have... Last week I had a 17’ F250 6R140 trans rebuilt. Fay Trans kept telling me they did everything right and there’s no leak, no seals leaking or anything. Obviously my transmission needs serviced and SOMETHING isn’t right. Now I’m on the back burner? I’d love to think I would be able to cut the line sort of speak. Fay Trans Owner - please make this right asap.
