Fairhaven Frets

Fantastic service by the proprietor Bryon. He is an excellent luthier and guitarist. Bryon did a stellar job installing 2 pickups and an aftermarket pick guard. He set up the guitar perfectly for a very reasonable rate. Bryon also worked on my Fender Deluxe Telecaster. I had him modify the electronics and add a new pick guard. The guitar always sounded great, but it plays and sounds even better after the work Bryan did. Highly recommended. The shop is very funky and has a great vibe. Lots of cool guitars to try out. Support a great local business.

5 stars simply isn’t enough for Bryon’s passion and knowledge about guitars (or any sting instrument for that matter). Upon arrival, he immediately greeted me with a handshake and started to take a look at my guitar in need of a setup and repairs (bridge separation repair). Took a straight edge and video recording tool to look inside my guitar. During my first visit, he soldered a guys new pawn shop electric guitar that had connection issues, FOR FREE! Bryon is what you would call a guitar master! After a house fire and my acoustic guitar was damaged, Bryon helped to fix my guitar. He patiently answered all of my questions and expertly explained to me how the fire damage could impact the sound of the guitar moving forward. I am so very grateful for Bryon and his services. Great customer service and all around professional!

Walked in and Bryon was fixing a guitar. Asked me what I needed, pointed out a single Fender bass in stock for about $1,200 that was extremely pretty, said that's not for me, pulled out an old and beat up Excel he was repairing, quoted a price, and we made the deal. In a couple weeks I will be the owner of a refurbished and cleaned up bass guitar. Was not really expecting to purchase a guitar today but I did and made a friend as well. Sad to hear he is closing in May. Take advantage before Fairhaven Frets is gone for good!
