Evergreen Flooring & Tile installed a new tile floor in our kitchen in April of 2025. We chose them as we like to support local businesses when possible, they were responsive, timely and the quote was fair. The initial install went well and the floor turned out great. Unfortunately, that's when things went downhill fast. Shortly after the install we noticed the grout had considerable discoloration throughout. I contacted them regarding the defect and was told it was due to the water they used and they would schedule a cleaning and/or regrout. Over the next 3 months, they refused to address the issue. Numerous texts and emails were sent and they were either ignored or responded to with "we'll get you scheduled" with no scheduling ever actually occurring. After months of being ignored, I notified Evergreen Flooring that if they remained unwilling to address the warrantied workmanship that I would unfortunately be forced to pursue legal action. The refusal to fix their work continued. In November of 2025 I filed in small claims court to recoup the cost to have a different contractor complete the regrout work. Immediately after being served the court summons, Evergreen was finally ready to come fix their work. But this isn't the end of ther unprofessionalism. In December an individual with Evergreen came and regrouted the entire kitchen floor. When he was complete, the floor was even more more disclosed than the original install. This employee dumped grout all over my yard and landscaping bricks and left a stack of loose razor blades on my porch where my toddler and dogs regularly walk. A different employee was sent out a couple days later to address the brand new floor for a 3rd time. Fortunately, he was able to finally make it right . If you live in the foothills and are looking to have a flooring project completed, I can not warn more highly to steer clear of Evergreen Flooring. They do not stand by their work. It took being sued for them to finally address their subpar installation and they still struggled to get it right. They honestly should be embarrassed as a local business and as tradesmen.
