We had our residential gas fireplace replaced in Charlottesville by Edwards Hearth and Home. A combination of several aspects set them apart from other vendors in the Charlottesville area: 1) they carry Valor fireplaces 2) They were willing to do tiling work on the surround and hearth at the same time (and did a great job at that), 3) quoted a lower price (even compared to other quotes that did not include tiling work!), and 4) promptly answered phone calls and texts. It's been a few months since our install and we remain extremely happy with the quality work. If you live in Charlottesville, consider Edwards.

Today an Edwards Hearth and Home crew installed a wood burning fireplace insert as well as my woodstove that I brought with me when I moved. The whole experience was straightforward, timely and professional from the inspection, through choosing the insert, throughout the install, and even the install cleanup. Their communication was just right. A great family owned business, they are respectful, kind and professional while offering excellent knowledgeable and trustworthy service.
