Called this morning for repair to our dryer. Spoke to Paula who was so kind and got us a repairman today. So glad since we just got back from vacation and had a pile of laundry to do. Young man named “J” entered our home in the most dignified manner. Shook our hands and introduced himself. Went straight to the appliance, which was the dryer and immediately saw the problem. It was solved in less than 10 minutes. If and whenever we need a repair person again, I will personally ask for “J” and if anyone asked me who I would recommend it would be Ed Wright appliance repair. Thank you Paula and “J”!! My dryer’s heating element failed, so I called this company for a Saturday service call. The repairman told me he had “used the last heating element the day before” and did not have a replacement. The dryer was not repaired, but I was given an estimate of over $500 to replace the part. I waited several days for follow-up about a new part. In the meantime, I researched alternatives and was referred to another repair company, which completed the repair for a total of $239, including parts and labor. I attempted to explain this to this company, disclosed the actual cost I paid, and asked why their estimate was more than double. Instead of addressing the pricing discrepancy, this company demanded a $170 “service fee” for showing up without a part and leaving the dryer unrepaired. The company is now threatening legal action to collect this $170. In my opinion, this company’s conduct has been unethical, unprofessional, and not in the best interest of the community.

We had a refrigerator break down and called several appliance repair companies. Ed Wright’s was the only company that offered same day emergency services. We spoke with Tina who was very helpful and courteous. Travis, our technician, arrived at our home on the same morning. He performed a full inspection and identified the problem. He ordered the necessary parts and scheduled the repair for the next business day. Travis was also very courteous and explained everything he was doing. We were extremely pleased with Ed Wright’s Appliance and all of their personnel.
