What an amazing job! We hired DreamMaker for a complete kitchen & bathroom remodel. We decided to do both jobs at the same time to help reduce cost and impact, so needless to say, this was a major job. We could not be happier with the end result! We knocked down a load-bearing wall and installed a beam (hidden in the ceiling) to completely transform our main level to an open floor plan. All new hardwoods were installed and our bathroom and kitchen were completely gutted…down to the studs. One of the best things about the entire experience is that Dennis and Christina, after gathering our design selections, provided us with digital image... What an amazing job! All new hardwoods were installed and our bathroom and kitchen were completely gutted…down to the studs. One of the best things about the entire experience is that Dennis and Christina, after gathering our design selections, provided us with digital images of what our end result would be. Everything was visible in those images from tile selections, faucet selections, paint color, light fixtures, and of course everything was to scale. It provided my wife and I with (1) confidence that we were making good choices, and more importantly (2) the opportunity to change our plans before construction began. Looking back, the experience would have been much more stressful without those digital schematics. During construction, Dennis’ work crew was courteous, on-time, and 100% professional. From the start of demolition through the final coat of paint, Dennis always kept me up to date on progress and timeline. The communication was fantastic, which for me is a big deal. In the end, the renovation looks exactly like the digital images and we are thrilled with result. I HIGHLY recommend Dennis and Christina for any renovation job (large or small).
Dreammaker Bath and Kitchens came out to do a tub to shower conversion for us in a guest bath as well as a partial kitchen remodel. Husband and wife team/owners who have a very nice showroom in Warwick. First and foremost, I have to say, the crew they sent out was top notch. They don’t have a large crew and they are measured in the number of projects they take on to fit the capacity of that crew. The carpenter, plumbers, electrician, even the demo guy - all excellent. The crew, whether subs or employees, really were worth their salt in the quality of the work and quality as human beings, respectful of you and your property. The latter... The crew, whether subs or employees, really were worth their salt in the quality of the work and quality as human beings, respectful of you and your property. The latter may seem superficial but believe me, it becomes super important as your home is taken apart and you’re living in a big mess while construction moves forward. A+ The tub to shower renovation was unbelievable. We provided most of the materials and they did the renovation. I could not say more good things about how it turned out. One thing worth mentioning is that they are a franchise and like most franchisees, their pricing fits a preordained price list that is usually set by the franchisor, not the local dealer, so while they were, in my experience, a little on the pricey side for the partial kitchen renovation in particular, I accepted that in exchange for quality and accountability, and I wasn’t disappointed. We have all been through the promise you everything but deliver a nightmare scenario of one sort of another in the world of building contractors. There will always be someone out there willing to do it cheaper. But we also live in a world where you get what you pay for — and we did. They are on balance, a really decent company to work with and I would recommend them.
We are appreciative of the hard work that Dennis and the team at DreamMaker put into making our bathroom vision come true. Frankly, a complete bathroom renovation down to the studs is an ordeal for any homeowner. Just like on the HGTV shows there are unexpected bumps in the road especially with an older home. The key is what happens when they are encountered. The team at DreamMaker focused on creative solutions to obstacles and involved us in those solutions every step of the way. Also, if some small detail was not quite what we envisioned (which is going to happen) they immediately brought it up to expectations without any resistance or hass... We had a very good experience with Dennis and Christina at DreamMaker. We did a full kitchen renovation (including major electrical and plumbing) and also replaced our popcorn ceilings with new flat-painted drywall. They were both supportive and candid during the design process and helped us refine our vision of what we wanted into a great rendering. The process was long, and it involved a lot of decisions; but in the end, the quote they gave us was spot on for both price and timing. They were competitive in price to our alternate and managed the design process much better than the competitor. The 3-year workmanship warranty was the key to u... Dennis had a day-by-day schedule before the start of the job and tried to pre-arrange all materials and inspections to keep the project on time. As changes to the schedule came up, he provided updated schedules which helped us plan our dates to move back into the house. Very shortly after the demo, an unexpected assessment from the engineer put a potential delay in the schedule. Dennis was able to come up with a creative solution with the vendor to get materials in quicker (1 week instead of 2 weeks) and also honored the originally planned price. The multiple times daily communication and regular presence of Dennis on-site was very appreciated. I was lucky enough to be on-site almost every day and any time something came up we worked together to come to an agreeable solution of course, this sometimes came with a change order and a price tag. Changes were fairly priced and done on time. Brian was a spectacular carpenter and had a great work ethic, attention to detail, and was very passionate about what he did making sure that he could stand behind his work. The Electrical and Plumbing sub-contractors were relatively quick and effective. They responded to any minor schedule adjustments professionally and completed their work with high-quality standards. As with any major project, there are always things to learn and do better next time. Dennis and Christina shared with us what they learned from the job to take to the next ones, and through the challenges, we also learned many things from them both. We are going to keep DreamMaker on the list for our next renovations and recommend them to our friends and family. I hope you choose them and have just as good an experience as we did. Or even better!
