I'd give zero stars if I could. Todd said he could repair a zipper and add stretch fabric to the inside of the shoe next to the zipper to give some stretching for the calves. What he did was completely ruin this pair of shoes. Cut out a big chunk of material from the side of the shoe and added WHITE to it. The stitching looks like it's been done by a three year old. If you think you can't repair a shoe correctly Todd, you should have said no instead of ruining someone's shoes. So a warning to everyone... if you want someone who doesn't do shoddy work, you would do best to stay far away from this shop. UPDATE: Todd has not only doubled down, but lied about the situation. Not once did he say he couldn't do the job before doing it. And he's blaming the customer instead of admitting his crappy workmanship. He also left himself a 5 star review to respond to me about this situation. He's blocked me from the shop page on Facebook as well. He refuses to acknowledge that he messed up the shoes. You shouldn't have let your ego get in the way of doing a good job. You should have said no and admitted you couldn't do the repair instead of ruining a 135$ pair of shoes. You could have researched how to extend the calf of the knee high shoes, instead of just up and ruining them. I found the information in under 30 seconds. You have no excuse. I don't care how long you've been in business, this is not how you do it.

Fantastic service! My work boots were worn out. Quality new are ridiculously expensive. So I talk to DRL and they can replace the soles with Vibram for less than a third of the price of new boots. They made some adjustments for way I walk, and after about an hour of wearing them my legs stopped aching. I was so impressed with their work, I brought them my lederhosen for a leather repair and a vintage fly fishing wading jacket had a hole in the waxed canvas. Both repairs are barely noticeable and I couldn’t be happier.
