This plumber was assigned through an American Home Shield claim, and the experience was very frustrating. Communication was poor. Calls always went to voicemail and callbacks took days, making scheduling difficult. When the plumber arrived, he refused to do any troubleshooting, stating the unit was “out of code.” When I asked what specifically was out of code so it could be corrected, the conversation became rude and dismissive, and I was left without any explanation or guidance. An incomplete report was sent to American Home Shield, which caused weeks of delays. Nearly three weeks later, they claimed the unit needed replacement, despite never performing diagnostics. I requested a second opinion, and the new vendor quickly diagnosed the issue and handled everything professionally. I would avoid this company due to poor communication, lack of professionalism, and failure to properly diagnose the issue.
