Derrick was very informative. I was working with a warranty company and many companies do not accept them. I had no problems and my repairs were done instantly. I already received my money back from my company. The service I received from him was exceptional. Thank you.
Was having some intermittent refrigerator problems, that included leaking. Got in contact Monday morning, and was able to secure an early Wednesday appointment. Received a call around noon the next day that the owner, Derek, had a spot free up and he would be able to come by the house in a few minutes. When he showed up he remembered me from the first time he came by the house years ago to repair our dishwasher. I think that's great that he remembers his loyal customers, no matter how long it is between calls. He got down to first diagnosing the problem, but said it was pretty unique just from the outside symptoms. After some troubleshooting he was able to re-create the issue, and figured out what was causing it. He quickly patched up the leak, and noticed what had caused it in the first place. He was in and out quickly, and his years of experience definitely showed. Hopefully all of our appliances keep themselves together, and we won't have to call him again, but I absolutely would not hesitate to contact him again if we had to.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! D1 Appliance Repair are total scam artists! The owner, Derrick Roldán, is unprofessional and unreliable, and his company is not worth your time! I scheduled a repair for my stove for November 7th. They cancelled at the last minute. For the next appointment, he finally showed up around 5 p.m. despite being given an appointment window of 1 p.m.-5 p.m. He spent 5 minutes telling my husband that he couldn’t fix the stove, that it needed a part, and charged us $120. I had to call about the status of my part, which took 3 weeks to come in. Fast forward to December 12th, another 1 p.m.-5 p.m. window. I texted him twice with no response. At 4:55 p.m., I received a call from his secretary saying he had a “family” emergency. They rescheduled for today, December 13th, with a 12 p.m.-4 p.m. window. No calls, no show! Completely ghosted me. I’m done with this rat. Just putting it out there that D1 Appliance Repair is a complete scam! I will be leaving this review EVERYWHERE! Lesson learned!
Derek arrived in the appointment window and was very friendly and professional. He quickly diagnosed the problem with my washer and repaired it in a timely fashion. Overall great experience and would highly recommend him for appliance repairs.
Needed service on my dryer at a quick turnaround. D1 was available within 2 days and showed right within the service window. Derek, the owner, was straight to the point and took care of what I needed and got me back up and running. D1 gained me as a customer moving forward and I’m happy to have found someone quickly being new to the area here in Crown Point. Thank you!
