Had a little problem with my account they took care of it right away and gave me a credit they were very good it took about a week to get back to me but I called back and they got it taken care of and it was awesome I spoke with Dawn and they gave me a credit and that was awesome and she was very nice
I have a unit that is not quite 3 years old and started leaking. The tech who diagnosed it was very kind and all that.
The problem is the actual service and warranty. The parts inside the head are bad and need rebuilt; however, they are not covered under the warranty. The head IS covered by the warranty but the parts inside are not. How exactly does that work?
What an awful way to treat a customer who (very stupidly) spent thousands for a Culligan to replace a Culligan that had lasted over 25 years. We thought the product had longevity and was a good decision by choosing this route, but we were very wrong.
UPDATE: I reached out to corporate Culligan and messaged regarding this situation. It took approximately a month and several back-and-forth messages and conversations between corporate and local Culligan, but local Culligan reached out and said the Pistons were bad in our nearly new soft water unit (less than three years old) and would replace those at no charge.
My husband did reach out to the manager for the local Culligan service department who said “I would bet you my paycheck that it’s the Pistons and not the head unit that’s broken.”
Shortly after a tech came out and replaced the pistons which did not resolve the issue. The tech called his boss got the head unit ordered and was finally replaced over a month after the initial, incorrect diagnosis.
I’m glad that Culligan made this right for us as customers, but no one should be treated so poorly, and be expected to pay so much money when it was truly a warranty issue. You shouldn’t have to call or contact corporate to get the local company to just do the right thing.
We are very thankful for having our water delivered to both our locations so we can take care of our team. Dawn has always been very helpful when I have questions and our drivers are very kind and considerate in making sure very thing is done right when they deliver our water.
