This is a must visit for any old home owner. Just had my first visit here for a plumbing issue in my 1925 home. I live across town and moving forward I will happily go out of my way to shop here every time I need to visit the hardware store. This is exactly how I remember the hardware store shopping experience growing up, with personal help and thorough explanations. I also expected to pay a markup for a local specialty shop, and was happy to do so, but the total came out far lower than any big box store would have for the same, if not higher quality items, and a better customer experience.
