Mike helped me get my Microsoft Studio Gen 1 desktop with full touchscreen working like brand new. He replaced the Power supply that the other computer repair shop in town didn’t want to replace and dragged their feet on. And he also discovered the drives suffered failure due to excess dust accumulation. He also added taller rubber legs so the dust can be controlled better. And best of all installed Windows 11 on a machine originally designed for windows 10. That basically gave me a new computer that can still have windows security upgrades in the future! He is willing to repair computers that other shops in town are afraid of- and the other shops upsell you in buying a used computer from them instead even though a cheaper repair is certainly doable. All the work was communicated in a transparent, timely and professional manner. He has all the correct diagnostic instruments and gives a warranty on his work. All our future computer work will be managed by Community IT… He is a great resource for the residents of Salem. Community IT Services may have a humble exterior, but they deliver professional services from within that I can recommend 100 percent! Mike designed and built a custom gamer desktop for me that I am thrilled with! After the sale he remained available for upgrades and to assist me with learning the new system and transferring my old data over from some old machines I thought were beyond salvage.
