I hired Color Carpets in Winston-Salem to install LVP flooring in my basement. While the work was completed in a day, the experience that followed was incredibly troubling. Two unopened boxes of flooring I had paid for were left in my garage. When I returned home the next day, they were gone. I contacted Jeff White (my salesperson and part-owner), who told me he had come to my home without notifying me and took the flooring without asking. He assumed I “wouldn’t want them” or “didn’t have space to store them.” That was never discussed or agreed upon. I paid for those materials, and I was deeply uncomfortable to learn someone had entered my home while I wasn’t there. On top of that, I found ten empty beer bottles and four large beer cans left in my recycling bin—clearly from the workers. Extremely unprofessional and concerning. When I raised all this with Jeff, he offered no apology and instead tried to justify taking the flooring by pointing to general manufacturing damage—though my leftover boxes were perfectly intact. I cannot recommend this company due to the lack of respect for customer property, failure to communicate, and total absence of accountability.
