I’ve had plenty of work done by Colfax in the past few years, oil changes and bigger. Vince does great work and charges fairly. If you want a lovely waiting area and a coffee machine and folks with clean hands at a customer service desk, go somewhere else. If you want an honest pro you can trust, this is your shop.
I needed some front end work done to my 2008 Tahoe. After seeing a couple other mechanics, I took my truck to Vince. Not only did he tell me exactly what I needed, he saved me some money. I would highly recommend Colfax Auto Repair. Polite, professional, and spot on.
I highly recommend Colfax Auto Repair! Vince the owner arranged to have my car towed from my home so he could install a new starter. He had the issue fixed the very next day! It is so good to finally find an honest, courteous mechanic who doesn't rip you off and has reasonable prices. I will continue to go to him for any other necessary repairs. I have already told quite a few people about him. Go to Colfax for any repairs. You will not be disappointed!
Vince has saved me numerous times. I usually don't write online reviews, but when a small business owner does an exceptional job at an honest price, I'd like to give them the recognition they deserve and hopefully the review helps other normal people find a trustworthy professional. And that is especially tricky to have certainty with car mechanics. Now I don't go get prices from other places, but in the beginning, I had the bigger name shops on Colfax street give me notably higher prices and had longer wait times to get my car fixed. Vince gets you in pronto, no excessive "recommended services" and unbeatable prices. I honestly felt like I should have paid him more for the last belt replacement. Again, with the day and age of artificial and water downed online reviews, I felt this individual deserved the recognition. P.S. I had a customer in my line of work recommended Vince to me, because her husband is a respectable welder and I wanted to know where HE goes to get his car fixed, answer was Vince at Colfax Auto Repair.
