My patio project was not a large job considering the scale of what CJ Pickering does, but it was complicated enough that it required the right skill levels and equipment to do it properly. Digging out the existing patio proved to be a challege, and working with real bluestone and brick is beyond what a lot of masonary groups want to deal with. Then, to integrate the new patio to the existing hardscape also requires skills. These folks are pro's and the results are great. I learned a lot during this project and realized many other groups that had bid were taking shortcuts. It was not an inexpensive project, but it costs less when you do it right and only have to do it once.

I can not speak highly enough about Cody and his entire team! I live on a lake with a very steeply sloped property that was having major erosion issues. Cody and his team put in a new retaining wall and stone patio on the lakefront side of my property and a series of huge retaining walls, new granite stairs, new paver driveway and front patio, and completely regraded the entire property. It was a massive job. Cody was wonderful to work with, very fair on pricing, and the work done is beautiful. I get compliments from neighbors and passersby all the time! Thank you CJ Pickering!

We just finished our second project with Cody and his team. He initially helped us in 2021 with a full pool deck renovation and most recently created a private, covered patio under our sunporch - in addition to creating a new entrance/walkway to our backyard. Cody is prompt, communicative, and has an incredible eye for design and detail. He holds himself to incredibly high standards, which translates into the quality of his work and provides the peace of mind that he is truly invested in the outcome - it's not just a "job" for him. His company is the only one we will ever use for future projects of this type.
