We’ve come here a few times to recycle appliances and electronics that can’t be easily recycled elsewhere. Staff is friendly. On our last trip here, the gentleman brought over a cart for us to unload a microwave directly from my truck bed to the cart. It was near the same height and made it really easy to slide out. I appreciate this location running the recycling program so that we don’t put the items in a dump. Check hours before coming here. They do have a special recycling day on the first Saturday of the month. It would be nice if they ran the recycling program a little more frequently on Saturdays for people that work during the work week.
I've called them 4 times over the last 9 months that our blue bin recycling isn't always picked up. They're courteous and take my complaint but nothing has changed. Almost every other week we bring in the bin and it's still full. This week, 4/7/21 recycling wasn't collected. I didn't bother calling because I don't expect it to change. UPDATE: Blue Bin recycling workers did service our bin on 4/7/21 as I just found out. However, their method is flawed. They lift the bin, tilt it upside down, then immediately turn it right side up, not allowing enough time for the entire contents of the bin to fall out. Every other week more than half of the cardboards never make it out.
