Great, affordable service. I have brought multiple pieces of equipment in for repair and always have been satisfied with the quick turn-around and fair pricing!
I had my craftsman mower towed to Chris lawnmower in June. I was told probably needed a driver belt. After 4 weeks I called they didn’t answer. Finally went down and put a note in door slot. When all said and done he charged me 643 dollars for labor and 2 belts and 10.95 to tap off the oil.i will never recommend anyone to go there and will never go again. Really disappointed .
I called Chris' Small Engine to get a quote for an oil and filter change. I was told they couldn't give a quote without looking at it, but would call me with a quote and timeframe once they assessed the cost. I had my lawnmower picked up on July 22nd. When I did not get a call or quote, I attempted to call 3 times on July 25. And so it began. From the 25th to August 6th, I made numerous calls daily. Most calls just continually rang. Randomly going to voicemail, I was able to leave only 3 messages. PHONE DOESN'T WORK! On August 6, I finally received a call from Joe requesting payment in order to return the mower "today or tomorrow". Since I was driving during the initial call, Joe called back on the 7th and was PAID IN FULL. Ah, so the phones call out! The mower was to be delivered on the 7th. SHOCK! It wasn't. Once again, I called a number of times with no response. Meanwhile, I pay to have my lawn cut. Cha Ching 💲! I then inconvenienced my neighbor to go down to pick it up on Monday, August 11. We were told that it was "buried in the back"... ready for delivery 5 days ago? I think NOT. We were told it would be delivered today after 3 or early tomorrow. Nope, not yet. Finally delivered on Wednesday August 13. This experience was exhausting. To add insult, they're PRICE GOUGERS! The bill was just short of double what John Deere (now closed) charged the previous year. It's a matter of time before they go out of business. Rightfully so. NO SERVICE. NO COMMUNICATION. ABSURD PRICES! STAY AWAY.
