I am so impressed with this work. I brought in a pair of beat up old boots that were falling apart and this man made them look good as new for a reasonable price. I would give 6 stars if I could!

Paul took great care of my shoes, replacing the heels in a timely manner! He was a little busy with other shoes but was very accommodating to help fix mine up quickly as I was leaving the week after I brought my shoes to him! Very personable dude

This place is such a gem! I live in mostly New Haven, Conn. and frequently travel to New York, and the prices and services at Central Shoe always beat what I find in CT/NY. I have taken three pairs of shoes to Central Shoe so far, including a fragile pair of kitten heels from the 1940s. Each time, my shoes came back polished and reinforced. I highly recommend their insole services on older and vintage shoes. I also love that each time I bring a pair of leather shoes for a heel repair or new insoles, they clean up the leather and give the uppers a good shine for free too.
