This review is long overdue as Carefree Homes (Fairhaven location) did so much for my family over the past year - new roof on my and my dad’s homes, addition of gutters and gutter guards, the installation of three new sliding doors and overseeing the cleaning and staining of my siding. I was so appreciative to have one business who could help with all these needs and consistent, friendly contacts before and during the work. The family pride of Carefree Homes is apparent in all interactions and the work they do. And their help didn’t stop after the projects - they’ve been welcoming of a few questions I’ve had since. When a company has been in business for as long as they have, especially in a competitive and sometimes “flighty” industry, you know they’re doing things right. I didn’t hesitate to contact them for each new project I needed and you shouldn’t either.

Care Free Homes recently completed renovations on our home including a new roof, new siding and new trim. We are VERY pleased with the results. We have gotten so many compliments from family, friends and neighbors saying how much they love our ‘new house’. Dana and Bob were very professional and provided us with regular updates throughout the project. The crews were extremely experienced and meticulous. These guys do great work!

We just had our Cape Cod house renovated and WOW! The wonder team of Nate and Nate (foreman and worker) are true craftsmen and perfectionists and they took such good care of our home and property. They worked in bitterly cold weather and never wavered in their friendly demeanor and work ethic. They are very detail-oriented and open to questions and take real pride in their work. We chose Care Free Homes after a lot of research since we wanted to re-side our house in CertainTeed Cedar Impressions individual vinyl shingles and Care Free Homes is a certified installer for this product. They also installed a new Azek deck, a Harvey slider door and a new roof. Our house is BEAUTIFUL and I can’t thank Nate and Nate and Carefree Homes enough!

Let me start by saying I am very picky and somewhat of a perfectionist. I don’t usually ever get WOWED. We recently worked with CareFree Homes to build our farmers porch, and we couldn’t be happier with the results! From start to finish, the entire process was seamless and stress-free. The team including Nate and Dana Pickup were professional, reliable, and incredibly attentive to detail. They kept us informed every step of the way and made sure everything turned out exactly as I envisioned. The craftsmanship is outstanding — our porch looks beautiful and feels so solidly built. You can really tell they take pride in their work. The crew was respectful of our home, cleaned up each day, and finished right on schedule. We’ve already gotten so many compliments from neighbors and friends, and we’ll definitely be recommending CareFree Homes to anyone looking for a trustworthy contractor.
