Ace Hardware Captain Cook is a great store and the employees are very helpful, kind and welcoming. This store is the neatest, cleanest, organized hardware store. The Ace sign is on the front of the building but you just follow the drive up around to the top level. 🤙
I go there every trip to the Big Island ...great people and service and stock most needs.
Super friendly and helpful staff. A lifesaver if you need something that is not food in S.Kona. I wrote the first paragraph 6 years ago . That is all still true. For 6 years I have been having great experiences at Ace! Today one of the staff members save me $200. and huge amount of aggravation with a simple solution to a gate opener repair! The prices at Ace may be a tiny bit higher but the service, knowledge and kindness you experience there is priceless!!!

Well stocked with quality selection of anything you need for your home and friendly staff that goes above and beyond. I ordered a heavy Komodo grill and they delivered and helped me set it up with a friendly smile, even though they were under no obligation to deliver it.
