I'll start this review with a compliment--the work was done correctly and I appreciate Derrick for taking the time to show me exactly what happened to my furnace. I've remodeled 3 homes, but HVAC is not my forté. The reason I'm giving less than 5 stars is because I asked for a detailed invoice and never received one. I'm including a picture of the invoice I received after asking for it a few days after the work was completed. It does not detail out the parts and labor. I was also told there would be a warranty with the installation, but I have no idea what it is. (I will likely be selling my home within the next year, so some detail and peace of mind for the new owners would be nice.) Any time I've spent money on service, regardless of how much it costs, a service provider can usually detail their charges. This includes going out to a restaurant or spending money at a car mechanic. The generic receipt I received from Budget leads me to believe they are hiding something so the consumer cannot make an informed decision about pricing. Truth be told, I agreed to the repairs before seeing a detail of the work to be done, but I was at least expecting a receipt to justify the work and the company cannot provide it. I also had a text conversation with the owner and he agreed to send the detailed receipt, but failed to follow up. I asked again and you can see he read the text, but again failed to follow up. The owner also stated in an e-mail that he has never provided detailed receipts, which leads me to believe I might be the first person to ask for a breakdown of charges since Budget started in 1991. That was my experience. You may have something different.
