Winter of '21 we had horrible water freezing due to poor construction of a new home combined with an extended sub-freezing period. All showers, sinks, toilets and laundry froze up leaving us with a single working sink for about a weeks' time. We brought these guys out to inspect and found that the builder ran the plumbing ABOVE the insulation on a slab home and found the insulation far insufficient and such a poor quality that nobody in town even uses it yet somehow he found a way. The team came in just in time fall of '22 when asked and they blew in proper insulation; and just in time for the 2022 and 2023 arctic air. While our showers did freeze again, this was due to the builder installing the water lines on the N wall of the home and not insulating correctly. We were unwilling to rip out entire bathroom walls so while we did have an issue, it was limited to 2 lines rather than all but one small one in the kitchen. The team was very professional and they did what they committed to doing. They also repaired our poorly installed entry and adjusted 5 sliding glass doors that were not closing correctly leading to major air gaps and energy losses. We now only have to turn the fireplace on for short stints as it actually gets TOO warm now which is a good problem to have. All home improvements are expensive these days but this is one of those that pays dividends throughout the life of the home so well justified. Thanks Matt & team!
