We recently had an addition built onto our home by Bencar, and we couldn't be more pleased with the entire process. Communication was excellent from start to finish. Lisa and Nancy were wonderful to work with- always friendly, organized, and quick to respond. Cody was readily available whenever we had a question, and kept everything on track. Throughout the project we had the pleasure of working with Greg, Jerry, Evan, Rocco, Greg, and Nick. Each one was hardworking, courteous, and professional. They showed great attention to detail. Every employee and subcontractor showed up when they said they would, and any changes to the scope of work were put in writing and approved by us first. We are thrilled with our new family room- it is exactly what we hoped for. The quality of the work and the professionalism of the entire team truly set Bencar apart.

Our full kitchen renovation project was recently completed by Bencar Building Systems LLC and we couldn't be happier. From beginning to end they are a fantastic contractor to do business with on this type of project. Their attention to detail was obvious from our very first estimate appointment and continued the entire way through the project. We have worked with many contractors over our 24 years in our home and have dealt with several contractors who act like they are doing you a favor, don't follow up, and don't adhere to schedules. Bencar is collaborative, responsive and attends to every detail. When we started exploring contractors for this job we approached two other kitchen remodeling companies and they both presented obstacles at the outset with poor follow up, not listening to our goals or worse designing the kitchen they thought we should have instead of the one we wanted. Bencar was the obvious company to work with right from the beginning as they explained in detail how they would perform the job, walked us through the process, referred us to the team at Bender in New Haven for cabinets, counters and fixtures as well as a great kitchen designer in Daryl. The planning stage was incredibly smooth. The construction phase was equally smooth with our crew of Evan and Rocco with support from Lisa, Mark, Nancy and Cody in the office and in the field. Bencar has a great reputation in the area and they lived up to that reputation. Within two hours of day one of construction we knew for certain we had made the right choice. Everything was so wonderfully executed and it was impressive how seamlessly all the different parts fell into place from deliveries, to tradesman arrivals, to demolition and on site necessities.Very clean work and absolute respect for our home. We had very high expectations for the finished product and we can honestly say the finished product has exceeded our expectations! We would strongly recommend Bencar Building Systems for your kitchen remodeling project.

We had our raised ranch kitchen, dining area, and living room made into an open concept space. Bencar was incredible to work with from our initial appointment to its completion. We were given a schedule of the project so we knew what to expect each day. They arrived on time daily, cleaned up each day, and made sure everything was done perfectly. We are so happy with how it turned out! We will definitely be using Bencar for future home projects. I highly recommend them!
