This is a lengthy review but I promise this write-up is worth your time. My wife and I recently relocated to Nh from Out-of-State, & have been buying and selling properties/investments for 15 yrs. This move was unique for us in that it involved establishing our 'Forever Home' that had to be PERFECT. I have never written a review before despite hiring countless professionals, but my experience with BDP has prompted me to invest the time here. We have a lengthy rolodex of providers that we have counted on over the years, but coming from Out-of-State we found ourselves starting from scratch. We began the process of vetting builders months before we closed on our home here in NH. We compared close to 20+ businesses and were immediately drawn to BDP because of the positive reviews, local presence, and most of all the photos spotlighting the work. We wondered what the catch was or if this team would be impossible to schedule/afford. I'm happy to share that from the minute we got on the phone with Jeremie to discuss our vision of a dream home, we could sense the enthusiasm in his voice and immediately knew BDP was the right fit. When we met Jeremie onsite we kept wondering what the catch was because he asked us about our preferences and responded with tons of constructive feedback & recommendations. My wife and I are very flexible and extremely easy going even with a project of the magnitude, but we have very unique and outside the box construction ideas. We found that some of our asks scared other builders off. Jeremie on the other hand was excited and interested in our vision. After selecting BDP we were extremely anxious kicking off a project of this scale living multiple states away without the ability to regularly check-in onsite. Jeremie helped us to establish comfort by building a project plan and setting a timeline that made us excited to get started versus nervous or fearing the worst. As mentioned above, I have never written a review but Jeremie and team are now the one and only call we will be making as we continue to expand our dream home. We will also be calling BDP as we branch out into additional investment properties down the road. Jeremie and his crew are not only an extremely talented and professional building team, but are also all people we are happy to now call friends. Regarding the actual scope of work, our project involved taking a beautiful 2,000 sq ft rural mountaintop home and: 1.Creating an entry/vestibule; 2.Converting a dining room into an office; 3.Updating a kitchen while converting a doorway into a wall; 4.Installing a gas fireplace and building a focal point stone chimney (Updating the exterior chimney masonry to match); 5.Renovating a bedroom into a walk-in closet/laundry room; 6.Completely gutting and renovating a master bath; 7.Updating a guest bath; 8.Turning an unfinished attic into a finished space becoming a gym. 9.Custom work in the basement. I get overwhelmed just listing the elements of this project, but as you can see in the before and after pictures, the work speaks for itself. I have tons of additional pictures of the before, during, and after stages this project that I'm happy to share with any of you that are interested. I will make myself available to speak to anyone who has interest in BDP because there is no other option as far as my wife and I are concerned. Our three observations after working with Jeremie include: 1. His eagerness to take on a challenge and think outside the box to get it right for a client; 2. Hiring the best and brightest employees & subcontractors; 3. Treating every project like he is actually building it for himself or his family, delivering a level of pride and quality that is unmatched. I have reached the word limit of what I can post but I urge anyone reading this to ask Jeremie to connect us and I'm happy to share more about the project BDP completed for us. Thanks for reading this review, and BDP thanks for building our DREAM HOME!
