Another save by Autotechs of the Low Country ! Started my truck this morning to take my granddaughter to school and the check engine light came on. Called Autotechs and they got me right in this morning and had me on the road in 35 mins. I thought it was a sensor or something maybe very serious. I was due on time for an oil change but was under (1000) on miles so I thought I was still in the safe zone—turns out I wasn’t!. Thank you Richard and Timmy for prompt courteous service at a fair price!

I'm visiting here from California and my engine on my old 97 Camry started running rough and the check engine light came on. I first went under my hood and attempted to reset all my ignition coil wires just in case they were coming loose. Then I checked two automotive repair locations. One scheduled me for two days later, and wanted me to leave my car all day. The other scheduled me for today but said the diagnostics would be $130 & would not be included in the repair price. Fortunately I checked online reviews and found Autotechs of The Low Country. I called them around 11am and they said they could try and fit me in around 230pm. I showed up at 210pm and they took my car right away. They came back after approx 1/2 hour saying they found the check eng light was on likely due to a bad carbon canister (fuel line) so they reset the check eng light and couldn't find any other issues. They said the light may stay off or it may come back on but since it's likely the carbon canister, not to worry. It's not running rough now so if it starts to again, bring it back and they'll do a test ride with me. These men at SO honest and fair, they did not charge me for their time. Incredible! It's a rare BLESSING to find an auto shop like Autotech, especially while traveling. Thank You!!
