As a new homeowner I was given coupons here- and im so glad i came. I shopped online to pick up in store and I saved a LOT of money, plus the coupons- ill be back again. Caroline and associates were incredible. My painting habits are going to change after this trip. 10/10 will be back again!
At a recent visit, there was a clean up need near the paint section. Kaleb (from the Waterville ME store) was very helpful and efficient in cleaning up the mess. We appreciated his quick response and ability to replace our item. Thank you!
Great place, employees answered all questions and helped find much needed items and filled our propane on freezing night right at closing time on a Friday. Will come again thank you!! Give the closing guy and informative chick a raise!
When I entered the store, three associates welcomed me and offered to help! All of them were friendly, especially Rob! Great people that make you feel like walking into a friend’s house.
Ace Hardware on Kennedy Memorial Drive in Oakland, Maine is absolutely top-notch. The customer service is above and beyond anything you’d expect from a local store. The manager went out of her way to research cat food for me because my cat cannot have anything with chicken in it. She helped me find Taste of the Wild with no chicken or chicken byproducts at all. To top it off, she personally checked me out and then walked me to my car—keeping in mind I recently had rotator cuff surgery. That level of care is rare these days so if you’re looking for genuine, old-fashioned customer service, this is the place. Very happy all around.
