ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I would not re-hire or recommend this company’s services after my experience. My review is for ZERO stars. Following the service requested for appliance repair, the persistent issue remains unresolved. Despite my repeated communications (emails, voicemail messages, and text messages) informing the company of the problem, there has been no response. The company’s communication solely occurs via text messaging, which involves an intermediary whose English proficiency is questionable. They assert a one-month warranty on repairs, yet they fail to engage with customers when issues are brought to their attention, effectively expiring the warranty. The issue: A dishwasher diagnosis and repair were required due to standing water in the bottom filter area. A repair technician, Mikhael, arrived to diagnose the problem. He advised that the water supply hose/fill hose needed to be cleaned due to clogging as this was the cause of standing water on the bottom of my dishwasher. While cleaning the hose, he inadvertently broke the adapter. It is important to note that all communication during the service with Mikhael was conducted primarily through his phone, where he translated his Russian to English. Despite his pleasant demeanor, poor communication rendered the entire process confusing and frustrating. He provided an initial price estimate. After breaking the adapter, he informed me that he would need to order the part, which would incur additional costs and take approximately four to five days to arrive. Consequently, I was unable to use the dishwasher during this time. Upon the part’s arrival, Mikhael returned to complete the repair. However, he subsequently charged a different price, which deviated from the initial agreement. He had previously assured me that no further charges would be incurred upon his return. The frustration of attempting to communicate through the language translator on his phone led me to pay him the additional charges. He added to the original agreed-upon price on multiple occasions. I should not have been responsible for the cost of a part that he broke, which delayed the repair. Regrettably, after a mere two weeks or so, I encountered the same issue of black debris accumulation on the dishwasher’s base. Upon removing the filter, I discovered approximately 2-3 inches of standing water. I am concerned that Mikhael lacked the necessary training and background to effectively repair my appliance. Furthermore, the company’s lack of concern for its customer's satisfaction and their own brand reputation is deeply troubling. Consequently, I incurred a financial loss, amounting to over $300, and wasted a considerable amount of my time by engaging with this company. I strongly advise against patronizing this establishment. Based on numerous reviews about this company, I am seeing the exact same issues being addressed such as requesting more money than was agreed upon, not fixing the issue they were hired to repair, and offering a warranty on repairs that they have no intention on honoring thus leaving the customer in a bind after being paid. I would not be surprised to see them face potential license revocation. As a customer, I can only describe the experience as a scam. Update: Appliance Repair MM LLC failed to diagnose the issue accurately, leaving standing water in my dishwasher after the repair. The courteous technician inadvertently damaged the shut-off valve, which he apologized for but still charged me for. Despite multiple attempts to reach Appliance Repair MM LLC via phone, voicemail, text, and email, they consistently failed to follow up until they noticed the negative review. Their response posted here fails to acknowledge any responsibility, asserting that the customer was at fault, which is not the case. Prospective customers should beware.
