Scheduled an appointment for a battery replacement for my iPhone 12 and drove a very long distance to have it serviced at this Apple Store. In the scheduler, it was clear exactly what service was needed and how much it would cost. I arrived for my appointment (early btw) only to be told that they could not perform my battery replacement because they accepted too many walk in service appointments and therefore had no more service capacity remaining for the day. They then spent a long time performing a variety of software diagnostics on my phone that would allegedly speed up the process if I were to return to the store but failed to tell me tha... In the scheduler, it was clear exactly what service was needed and how much it would cost. I arrived for my appointment (early btw) only to be told that they could not perform my battery replacement because they accepted too many walk in service appointments and therefore had no more service capacity remaining for the day. They then spent a long time performing a variety of software diagnostics on my phone that would allegedly speed up the process if I were to return to the store but failed to tell me that the diagnostics were only valid for 5 days. Of course I cannot return within 5 days, so even more time was wasted on this incompetent store doing everything BUT what I need, which is to replace the battery. VERY disappointed.
If we were allowed to leave negative stars, I would! I am a business customer and a 24 year military veteran and have never had a store manger be so inconsiderate and a lier. I brought my computer in to have it worked on and I asked specifically for them to call me if there were any issues that would delete/erase my data. I was told they would. They only called after they went well beyond the repair time that they quoted. I was told that there is always a possibility that data would be erased but the crazy part is that he told me the procedure that was done to my computer that is was a gaurentee that it would be erased. Needless to say that my company and myself will no longer be an Apple customer and you Best believe that I share this hideous experience with any company and any person that I know. Such ashame that people like this exist in the customer service sector. Best wishes
I have been an Apple user most of my life. Went to the Apple Store Saddle Creek Germantown TN yesterday to purchase a new MacBookPro. When I walked in, I was greeted immediately and told to stand by the MacBook Pro table and someone would be with me shortly. That someone never came. The store was busy and very UNDER STAFFED. When I walk into a store and say I want to make a purchase for a couple of thousand dollars, I do not expect to wait more than 10 minutes. But I did and longer and I ultimately left. On the way out I told the person that greeting me that no one helped me and the store lost a nice size sales. He acted like he could h... I have been an Apple user most of my life. After considering my experience I have determined a Mac many not be for me. I am considering looking on-line today for a PC that is upgradable and can keep pace with the fast pace changes in Technology but I love MACs. Tough decision being made easier by a bad customer service experience at the Apple Store.
Apple: The company that babies its customers through even the most simple of purchases. I just needed a USB-C to Mag-safe cable. A simple in and out trip. Nope. Wait in line five minutes to be "checked in." Then go wait in ANOTHER line to have someone try to upsell you on 15 things when I just need ONE cable. For the love of God, SET UP A RRGISTER AND LET PEOPLE JUST BUY THINGS.
