I don't like posting negative re views but I think others should be warned. AV Plumbing's prices are high. There was one quoted price. There was no parts and labor breakout even after we talked with the owner after the fact. We paid $425 for plumbing repairs ( discounted from $450 because we are "good people"). The tech replaced two leaking washing machine faucets and a Moen shower fixture catridge. The turn on handle for the shower fixture was getting very hard to turn (because of the worn out cartridge) and then finally the water would not turn off at all so I had to turn off the water to the whole house. Bottom line, when I called the plumber I was in a bad negotiation position. The tech and owner assured us we got a good price and the tech did have to use a special tool to remove the shower fixture cartridge. Still, I feel we paid too much and they took advantage of the situation. The tech was polite and came out quickly and the problems appear to fixed. Again we over paid. And again, I don't like posting negative reviews but I think others should be warned.
