Called at 9 am got to the yard to get parts arrived at 11:30 am it took 40 min to find parts I ordered, then to find out they were selling damaged parts. Buy online a lot simpler don’t have to deal with counter guys.
I contacted this yard after finding a transaxle I needed — a part that’s becoming increasingly hard to source. I explained clearly that I needed it as a rebuildable core and even arranged to personally drive several hours round trip to pick it up. A few days later, I get a call claiming the unit is ‘no good.’ That’s fine — I’m rebuilding it. I still offered to pay for it. Suddenly, the story changes: now it’s been ‘damaged by a forklift’ and they need to ‘ask the boss.’ Then… radio silence. I follow up again. The latest excuse? ‘We can’t get to it.’ Really? You have a part I’m willing to overpay for — a part my customer needs — and your response is essentially: “too much effort.” Instead of making a sale, you chose to waste my time, and my customer's time. And for what? You’d rather scrap it than lift a finger to complete a basic transaction. That’s not just bad business — it’s lazy and disrespectful. From one business owner to another: you’re an embarrassment to the industry."
We just traveled 2-1/2 hours to get a part for our van. We called ahead and told them what type of vehicle we had and they said they would call us back to confirm that they had the part. We called back an hour later to see if they had checked on the part and we were told that they hadn’t had a chance to check on the part but they would get to it soon, at this time we confirmed our vehicle type, G30, 1 ton van, 1994 Chevy. They called back and confirmed they had one. We drove the 2-1:2 hours and when we got there the one they had was for a 1996 Chevy Pickup. Completely wrong, wasting our gas and time. We felt that there was no customer service on their part. We were blamed on the vehicle identification mistake and basically told there was nothing the could do to help us.. This was a real disappointment! E
