I had David visit to address a failing weight cable on my antique Tiffany an Co. grandfather clock. It was also due for an oiling. He showed up and looked over the clock and I decided to have him replace all three of the weight cables so he remove the Bawo & Dotter clockworks and took it with him back to the shop to do the repairs. He call on Christmas Eve and wanted to know if it was OK to show up to install or if I had holiday plans it would be interfering in. I told him to come and after arriving he had the clock works back installed in short order. He also replaced some parts that were put on by previous service workers that he pointed out were not correct. He is very knowledgeable about clocks and I ended up buying his book on the Bawo & Dotter clock company. I learned a lot about my clock and narrowed down the manufacture date from valuable information in the book. It was a pleasure meeting Dave and I would highly recommend him to anyone needing service on an old clock.
