Would leave a 0 if I could. These people are an absolute joke! We've been without wifi for almost a month now they have given my 70 year old fil a run around telling him it would be fixed. I have 3 agents come out and say the same thing and they still yet to take care of it. Wouldn't recommend this company
I have had terrible, absolutely terrible luck with this company. I was without internet for FOUR weeks, NO JOKE! They sent out technicians who obviously didn't know what they were doing because they had no idea what was wrong. They just kept telling me to wait and they would get someone out, and they did after bugging them enough, but that didn't do any good. I had to call 8 times and more often than not the person I talked to on the phone was very rude, and didn't care about the problem. After being without internet which I use for work. I can't just use another computer or internet either because my work is keyed to my computer and internet, because if I tried another it's a big security risk for who I work for. So I have lost out on so much money because their technicians had absolutely no idea what was going on or how to fix it. If they didn't have a monopoly in Blair I would instantly switch to Great Plains Internet, or Cox Internet. Also after 4 weeks they finally got it going and now instead of the speed I am paying for monthly I am only getting a QUARTER of the speed I am supposed to. At this point, after losing so much money and with the internet speed issue i've been told by my families lawyer to make a case against them and I am seriously considering it. Also with the internet being the way it is, i'm about to cancel it and just buy a phone with unlimited high speed data and use it as a hotspot for my computer. It cannot be any worse than this company!
Is there anything lower than a 1 rating? The customer service with American Broadband is lacking in every single way. They are completely unethical and they lie about everything they say, then when you expect them to stay true to what they told you they treat you terrible! We didn’t receive a bill for almost 5 months and then when we finally did it was an outrageous amount that they expected us to pay all at once. When we called we were treated like dirt! Like we were the ones who were out of line. This company is a joke.
