Alluring Floors

I had an excellent experience with Alluring Floors. Yazmin, our hardwood floor specialist, provided the quote and guided me through every step of the process. We scheduled the work and the crew arrived right on time. Throughout the entire project, they consistently kept us updated, checked in with me for customization decisions, and made sure there were absolutely no surprises. The workers were polite, professional, and very considerate, even warning me that the machines would be loud. They discovered some dark staining that could not be removed through sanding, so they replaced a few planks. The work was flawless and you can barely tell where the pieces were replaced. They also reminded us repeatedly about how to avoid walking on the floors during the three workdays and instructed us not to open windows in the treated areas. After sanding, they applied two coats of an oil based finish. We were told the fumes, while strong, were not harmful long term, but we still slept with the windows open. After the final coat, they asked us to wait at least twenty four hours before we could even walk on the floors. The most challenging part of the process was simply trying to live in the house while the work was being done. Navigating between usable and unusable areas, eating out daily, and even climbing in and out of the house using ladders at times was awkward and probably odd looking to the neighbors. If possible, I highly recommend staying elsewhere for a few days while your floors are being redone. Overall, the price was very reasonable, the craftsmanship was excellent, and the team’s constant communication made the entire experience smooth and stress free. I can confidently recommend Alluring Floors to anyone considering refinishing their hardwood.
