I am so excited! Frank came out and repaired my dryer, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the service. He was extremely informative, helpful, and persistent in resolving the issue. His professionalism and dedication really stood out. I highly recommend him, and if I ever need appliance repair in the future, Frank will definitely be my first call!
Frank was fast, efficient, and courteous! Frank even repaired my washing machine on a Sunday! Allied Appliance repair is respectful of your schedule, and keeps you posted on arrival time. I usually use A&E, but Frank was more reasonable and could accommodate around my hours! No missed work for an appliance repair. Thank you, Frank!
Okay I'm trying to be fair in this review but there was a lot of unprofessionalism from this company. I posted screenshots to show everything that happened between us.
The first visit went normally- he came and diagnosed two issues with my washer, one that he was able to fix (the agitator) and one that I needed to get a plumber for (leaky pipes). Okay no problem. We rescheduled for another day and he missed the appointment completely. And tried telling me I'm wrong about the 10am scheduling that we both agreed to as you can clearly see in the screenshot. This alone isn't the biggest deal but then when he came to show up for the 2:30 appointment he was 25 minutes late.
At this second appointment he didn't even fix the agitator. He just reassessed the pipes and said he couldn't fix them, which he had already said at the prior appointment and left, telling my landlord he had finished the job. I followed up with my landlord and asked him if the repair man would come back again to fix the agitator and he told me he was not even made aware that was an issue. It could've been easily fixed at the second appointment but alas, it wasn't and we had to reschedule for a third visit.
Rescheduling this third visit was very annoying. He asked if I was free on Friday and I said yes and then heard crickets until Friday when he asked if I was free that weekend. I again replied yes and crickets again until Monday.
On Monday we rescheduled for Tuesday and he showed up 35 minutes late. So that's now one missed appointment, and showing up significantly late to two others. I'm a working mom and take a lot of work calls and can't just sit around waiting for a repair man to show up late.
Last but not least a little basic hygiene goes a long way. Each time this man entered my house, it reeked. I'm not even the type of person who's that sensitive to smell but holy crap I had to open windows to air it out each time after he left. I lit a candle before he came the last time hoping that would drown out his smell but it didn't. Please be respectful and considerate of the people whose houses you enter into. I don't want it smelling like an entire pack of cigarettes. I have a toddler and I don't want him exposed to that toxicity.
Now as far as what he did well, my landlord says he charged fair prices and he did end up fixing the agitator in a quick amount of time so that's the bright side. He was also friendly enough to speak with. But some professionalism and hygiene would go a long way here.
