My husband went to this place to repair our son’s iPad mini 5. We were promised a few days. We took it in Sunday and promised Wednesday or Thursday. We never got any communication, it wasn’t done until over a week later. We called to ask if it’s ready, nope. We would get the promise of a call. No updates. He called again on Saturday, the guy sounded annoyed and defensive. And again promised to call. The third call my husband was angry because we are ready to report this place for stealing the broken tablet. What does the employee here do? He can’t stop laughing. My husband spoke to Roberto in the Long Beach store because this guy was unprofessional, again a promise of a call but nothing. We finally did get it back a week later and the battery dies faster. I read reviews about this place swapping batteries and selling them to other customers. This tablet was fine, it only had a cracked screen and now it can’t keep a charge when not in use. It was 74 last night, 8 hours ago and now? (While not used) it’s 7%. We have receipts to prove we are customers. So please don’t say you have no record. You should remember laughing to a customer’s anger and impatience. This place replaced the screen but also swapped the battery for a worn out one maybe on purpose or because we were “Karen’s”. I would recommend nobody go here. I would never again. There’s better, way better. The response from the owner has no apology and they haven’t offered to change the battery back. I paid 130$ to get back a tablet that is now more useless after taking it to this “repair” shop. No name from owner. No accountability from this shop.
