Worked with Taish on adding stucco to our 1970’s MDF siding. He was very personable, addressed all my concerns, and had some great ideas for aesthetic improvements. Our house looked very dated and the trim would constantly need maintenance and paint. Alamo’s crew removed all the trim pieces, added the vapor barrier, chicken wire, and three coats over the next few weeks. They have been doing this type of work for a very long time and it shows. Their quote was very reasonable considering some of other estimates were way out of our price range. I had a few things that needed a little TLC but no major issues. We had a great experience with Alamo Stucco!! We first got a quote from them over a year ago and then had to delay our project until 2022. When we finally decided to move forward this year, they were responsive, eager to help and provide us with great ideas to maximize our home improvements. We had a vision for our house that Alamo was able to help us bring to life. We had them put on a new roof for us as well as stucco for the entire house and some demo of the old fashioned wood trim on the front of our house. They added a beautiful pergola to the front of our house that we can't wait to grow flowers over!! They were fast and efficient, all... We had a great experience with Alamo Stucco!! The owners were on site daily. Communication was great and we were shocked at how quickly the project was completed!! We are so in love with our new house exterior and have gotten so many compliments from neighbors. Thank you Taish and Gerardo and crew!
Can’t say enough great things about Taish and the crew from Alamo Stucco. A year ago or so they helped us with some stucco work on my house and did a great job. So when we were deciding to build an outdoor kitchen I thought I’d contact them to see if they could do the stucco on that project. After talking to Taish, I learned they could actually do the whole outdoor kitchen. Even more when he came over to discuss the outdoor kitchen we started talking about ideas I had to build a pergola as well. Not only could they build the pergola but Taish brought all sorts of new ideas to the table and came up with a design even better than what we... Not only could they build the pergola but Taish brought all sorts of new ideas to the table and came up with a design even better than what we had been imagining. I’ve posted some pics of the end result, which we couldn't be happier with. The Alamo crew handled the construction of both the pergola and outdoor kitchen from start to finish. My wife and I can be very particular about what we want and they were extremely accommodating throughout the entire process. The whole crew was professional and knowledgeable. I highly recommend working with them for any project you may have in mind. My wife and I are already discussing ideas for more projects they can help us with in the future.
Alamo Stucco did a PERFECT job of replacing the damaged stucco below two replacement windows during a windows and glass sliders replacement project at my condo. The board mandated the new construction window installation methodology for these two windows as the board claimed that the old windows leaked rain water, causing the stucco damage. Upon stucco removal, it became obvious that the damage was due to over irrigation of the lawn. The chicken wire had rusted away, the underlying black paper and flashing was full of holes, the pink insulation was gray in color, which suggested the presence of black mold. Additional stucco was removed until “good” paper was revealed. New insulation, paper, flashing, chicken wire were then installed and treatment for termites and mold was completed before new stucco was applied. The texture and paint color was perfectly matched to the existing upper areas of both walls! Andres and Sergio are 5 star rated employees, as they suggested the correct work to be completed for a proper repair job. The photos show the PERFECT stucco repair job! I'm very pleased! Aug. 18, 2020 I've downgraded Alamo's rating to 4.5 from 5. I was hoping to obtain a statement from the company stating that the stucco damage was due to sustained wetting from the association's irrigation system. They took many photos as documentation to support a statement. I'm disappointed. The stucco repair was 5 star rated.
