BLUF - We LOVE our new deck, the process was great, and we recommend Affordable Custom Decks to everyone. Specifics: - They LISTENED to our description of what we wanted, and built a design based on that. Other companies were pushing what they wanted to build - Prompt and hard working! The work crews showed up on time, communicated what the next steps were, coordinated everything with Va Bch structural assessors, and cleaned everything up upon completion. - The workers had planned to finish putting the floorboards on the deck on a Friday. But they saw my wife having to leash up our two dogs to walk them out front to go to the bathroom, so they voluntarily built one of the sets of steps so we could just put the dogs out back over the weekend. - The details and construction quality on the deck are OUTSTANDING!! We had a new deck put on our house and to say it is the most beautiful and well built deck would be an understatement. The professionalism of both Dave (the designer) and Charles (the builder) was excellent. Charles did an excellent job and took extra care to make sure everything was done precisely right.
